Job Description

The Automotive Sales BDC Representative is responsible for managing inbound and outbound digital and verbal communications with prospective clients. A Business Development Center representative responds in a timely fashion to internet and phone inquiries, answering consumer questions and providing information on vehicles and purchasing options. Business Development representatives must be well versed in product knowledge and be able to help guide perspective consumers towards the vehicle that best meets their needs.
Key Responsibilities Lead Response & Management:
Respond to new internet leads, web forms and text messages quickly and accurately.
Outbound Calling:
Executes structured outbound calls to follow-up with customers and continue the purchasing cycle
Appointment Setting:
Book and confirm showroom visits for customers, coordinating with sales professionals to ensure an exceptional experience
CRM Documentation:
Log all customer interactions, including email replies, phone conversations and text/ chat sessions in dealership CRM.
Confirmation:
Conduct reminder calls prior to scheduled appointments
Team Collaboration:
Partner closely with sales manager and sales professionals to introduce clients and work together to handle customer needs.
Management Analysis:
provide CRM reporting to management and be prepared to discuss opportunities and process improvements.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of vehicle inventory, product trims levels, features, accessories and current incentive.
Qualifications & Requirements Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
Technology:
Comfortable navigating CRM, phone and web tools.
Drive & Work Ethic:
High energy, positive attitude, and self-motivated work habits are a necessity.
Experience:
Call center or customer service experience is a must. Automotive experience in sales or service is preferred. Passion for the automotive industry is vital! How is success defined? Lead Response Time:
Average time taken to reply to digital inquiries with a response.
Contact-to-Appointment Rate:
Percentage of total customer inquiries that are converted into a booked showroom appointment.
Appointment Show Rate:
Percentage of scheduled clients who physically arrive at the dealership.
Relationships:
Ability to connect with people, both internally and with prospective clients. We are looking for the consummate team player who takes pride in the team's success. Must be at easy with one-on-one interactions.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
