Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Automotive Business Development Representative to join our expanding team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind building strong relationships with potential clients, expanding our market presence, and generating high-quality sales opportunities. Responsibilities Engage in outside sales activities by reaching out to prospective clients through cold calling, networking events, and community engagement to generate new business opportunities. Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline by qualifying leads, nurturing relationships, and converting prospects into loyal customers. Conduct B2B (business-to-business) sales discussions with dealership partners, fleet managers, and corporate clients to promote our automotive solutions. Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track interactions, update client information, and monitor sales progress efficiently. Negotiate deals effectively by understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing high-end sales with confidence. Support upselling efforts by identifying additional customer needs and recommending suitable products or services to maximize revenue. Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills during outbound sales calls, ensuring a professional and engaging customer experience. Skills Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or automotive sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Exceptional negotiation skills combined with the ability to build rapport quickly across diverse audiences. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with a broader customer base and enhance outreach efforts. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts, follow-ups, and maintaining an active sales pipeline. Familiarity with CRM software platforms for tracking customer interactions and sales data. Experience in dealership environments or retail automotive settings is preferred; knowledge of inventory management and inventory control is a plus. Excellent public speaking skills for presentations at events or client meetings; proficiency in retail math and basic business calculations is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in outbound calling campaigns, cold calling strategies, and marketing initiatives to generate leads. Customer service expertise combined with effective phone etiquette ensures positive interactions at every touchpoint.
