Job Description

Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and driven Commission Sales Representative to join our team in the low voltage custom integration industry. We are a family owned and operated business looking to add to our outstanding team! This is a commission role, ideal for a self-motivated individual with experience in lead generation, CRM management, and relationship-building. You will be responsible for selling advanced smart home technologies, including home theater systems, networking solutions, surveillance systems, audio systems in both residential and commercial applications. The ideal candidate needs to live in Central or Eastern CT. This position would be a hybrid position, we have a showroom in Vernon CT that meetings will be held at however the majority of the position will be in the field.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation :
Actively identify and generate leads through multiple channels, including personal networks, online platforms, and industry events.
Lead Follow-Up :
Diligently follow up on all leads, ensuring timely responses and effective communication with potential clients.
Lead Management :
Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and maintain detailed client information.
Sales :
Sell smart home integration products and services, including home theaters, smart lighting, networking, surveillance systems, audio systems and more.
Networking :
Attend outside networking events, including BNI meetings, Chamber of Commerce events, and other professional groups to build relationships and generate leads.
Client Relationship Management :
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Expertise :
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and products to provide knowledgeable advice and guidance to clients.
Qualifications :
Proven sales experience, preferably in low voltage custom integration, smart home technology, or related industries. Experience with lead generation, follow-up, and CRM systems. Strong networker, comfortable with attending outside events (BNI, Chamber of Commerce, etc.). Knowledge of smart home systems, home theater, networking, and control systems a bonus but not required for the right candidate. Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to succeed in a commission environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation :
Full time employees will be compensated at a base of $20.00 per hour plus commission. The commission is uncapped meaning your earning potential is up to you. Commission plan will be reviewed in person during interviews.
