Job Description

Automotive Finance & Insurance Manager A successful, established franchised automotive dealership in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance & Insurance Manager to join its management team. This is a confidential search for a proven automotive professional who can deliver a transparent, customer-focused buying experience while maximizing finance and product performance. The ideal candidate is a strong closer, an effective communicator, and a team player who is comfortable supporting both the finance office and the sales desk. Responsibilities Present financing, vehicle protection products, and insurance options clearly and professionally Secure competitive financing approvals through dealership lending partners Evaluate customer creditworthiness and structure deals appropriately Ensure all paperwork is accurate, compliant, complete, and funded promptly Maintain strong product penetration, finance performance, and customer satisfaction Build trust and rapport with customers throughout the delivery process Assist the sales desk with deal structure, payment options, and closing customers Support the sale of both new and pre-owned vehicles Maintain strong lender relationships Follow all federal, state, manufacturer, and dealership compliance requirements Qualifications Minimum of two years of automotive retail experience Previous F&I or automotive management experience required Proven ability to sell finance and protection products Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and ethical business practices Knowledge of automotive financing, lender programs, compliance, and deal documentation Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary and commission structure Excellent income potential Comprehensive benefits package Established lender relationships Supportive ownership and management Opportunity for long-term growth All inquiries will be handled confidentially.
