This is a part-time independent contractor position with a flexible, event-based schedule. It's a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys retail, visual merchandising, and building genuine connections with customers. The position begins with paid training alongside the founder and is intended to grow into independently representing the brand at local events, with opportunities to assist at select regional and out-of-state events. This role is ideal for someone looking for meaningful, long-term part-time work with the opportunity to grow alongside an established Connecticut-based brand. Our collection celebrates distinctive design, exceptional craftsmanship, and pieces that stand apart. Creating an exceptional customer experience is at the heart of everything we do. Responsibilities Transport event materials, displays, and inventory to and from local events Set up tents, tables, displays, and merchandise the jewelry collection Create a beautiful, organized presentation that reflects the brand Welcome customers and provide a thoughtful, elevated shopping experience Assist customers with styling and selecting pieces Process sales using Shopify POS (training provided) Maintain inventory and merchandising throughout the event Complete event breakdown and safely transport displays and inventory following each event Who You Are You are someone who is: Warm, engaging, and confident working with customers Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently Able to lift display equipment and assist with event setup and breakdown Available to work weekends throughout the year, with additional opportunities during the holiday season Comfortable transporting event materials with a reliable vehicle Interested in jewelry, fashion, antiques, design, or visual merchandising Experience in retail sales, boutique retail, customer service, or a related field is preferred, but not required Shopify POS experience is a plus but not required. While jewelry knowledge is helpful, we're ultimately looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, has a strong eye for visual merchandising, and takes pride in creating an exceptional customer experience.
