The CCO is dediced to expanding and diversifying the agency's portfolio based on gaps left unfilled by prive sector financing solutions. The office responsible for new internional business opportunities and managing customer relionships with a focus on medium and long-term deals, especially in support of the agency's stregic priorities reled to clean energy, Sub-Saharan Africa and the ten sectors identified by Congress as transformional export areas (artificial intelligence, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, wireless communicions equipment, quantum computing, renewable energy, semiconductors, emerging financial technologies, wer trement and sanition, and high-performance computing). CCO responsible for the stregic marketing of EXIM's programs and products to specific geographic regions and specified business sectors worldwide. At the full performance level, duties include, but are not limited to: Manages large scale initiives and projects often lengthy in durion and involve substantial agency resources and mobilizes internal/external stakeholders and resources to successfully meet new stregic business initiive objectives (i.e., clean energy, Sub-Saharan Africa, transformional exports, technology, etc.). Applies knowledge of conventional transactional processing methodology and general financial services management techniques to analyze credit and financial stements of potential or returning clients. Meets with potential clients th are or could be part of U.S. export transactions within his/her assigned region or industry. Designs, implements, and monitors marketing plans for special initiives within CCO. Prepares reports advising various levels in EXIM on the stus of these initiives. Meets with potential clients th are or could be part of U.S. export transactions within his/her assigned region or industry. Develops programmic literure on EXIM financial service programs, product lines, business processes, and opering system infrastructure (i.e., working capital guarantees, export credit insurance, loan guarantees, and direct loans) for internal and public usage. Serves as a primary contact for key regions, industries, or export cegories as needed. Educes clients in th area on the array of EXIM and other agency programs available to exporters and importers of U.S. equipment and services. Advises clients or potential clients on how to apply for U.S. government financing solutions, program requirements of th assistance, applicable fees, documentary and credit requirements of the approprie policy and program structure. Works to ensure th qualified leads are followed up on in a timely manner. Provides guidance to clients regarding credit standards, country limitions, etc. from inception of a potential transaction until a well-structured and complete applicion is submitted to EXIM. Serves as a public speaker on behalf of EXIM on medium-term and long-term exports transactions, trade finance, and other business issues.
