We provide revenue-based financing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States, with funding amounts ranging from $5,000 up to $250,000. Our mission is to empower business owners by helping them access fast, flexible capital paired with clear communication and strong service. By combining technology with a relationship-driven approach, Magenta delivers funding decisions quickly—often within 1 hour—while building long-term partnerships with our customers. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our inside sales team and are looking for motivated individuals eager to build a career in sales and finance. Job Overview The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an entry-level, in-office role and serves as the first point of contact for prospective business owners. This position is ideal for individuals early in their career or transitioning into sales who want hands-on experience, structured training, and a clear path for advancement. Sales Development Representatives are responsible for contacting provided leads, qualifying business owners, and guiding interested prospects through the initial application process. Once a prospect is qualified and engaged, the opportunity is transferred to a Closer to complete the funding process. High performers may be eligible to advance into a Closer or hybrid sales role as early as six months, based on performance, KPIs, and overall fit. Duties Contact inbound leads via phone and CRM tools Engage business owners in professional, consultative conversations Qualify prospects based on basic business and funding criteria Educate prospects on Magenta's revenue-based financing solutions Guide interested prospects through the application process Transfer qualified opportunities to senior Closers Maintain accurate notes and activity tracking within the CRM Meet or exceed monthly call, application, and performance benchmarks Collaborate closely with Closers and leadership to ensure smooth handoffs Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and skill development Experience No prior sales experience required No college degree required Strong verbal communication skills and comfort speaking on the phone Coachable, motivated, and goal-oriented mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Prior customer service, retail, hospitality, or phone-based experience is a plus, but not required Compensation Base salary: $32,000•$35,000 per year Uncapped commission structure First-year on-target earnings typically range from $40,000•$60,000 Consistent performers are expected to earn commission monthly Eligibility for promotion into a Closer role as early as 6 months Exact compensation may vary based on experience, performance, and role fit.
