Sales and Operations Coordinator

This is an exciting job opportunity in the marine chemical industry. In this versatile job you need to be a proactive multi-tasker, who can work directly with both suppliers and customers. You will build relations and negotiate product pricing with suppliers, while also building relations with clients and ensuring best possible service and pricing is provided. This is a dual position, splitting between the cruise sector and segments in the commercial shipping sector. This position will be based in Dania Beach but will require part-time travel to the office in Louisiana. Additionally, you will work in a cross-regional structure, working with teams based in other non-US regions. In this role you will operate in a high-paced environment and will occasionally require communication or general work to be conducted outside regular working hours. Your daily routine will consist of: Work within the company's SAP system, and other supporting platforms. Turnaround quotations as quickly as possible, via our SAP system and in the clients quoting/ordering platforms. Process orders in a timely fashion and ensure available stocks and delivery dates are compatible and completed on time. This will require cross regional collaboration for international orders. Arrange delivery with your (domestic and international) team of colleagues in operations, as well as with 3rd party service providers. Follow up with clients on open quotations, open orders. Maintain and build successful relations with customers Collaborate and communicate with colleagues and management to ensure processes are followed and sufficient stocks are maintained. Previous experience in one or more of the following areas are highly valued.: Commercial Marine (Blue water) and/or Cruise Industry Sales and/or purchasing Marine operations Chemical sales Proficient with computers - MS Office software. SAP experience is a plus
