Our ideal candidate is intuitive, honest, reliable, a self-starter, and able to handle an environment that can be sporadically chaotic, busy, and high-energy… while still being able to stay busy during slow periods. You must be able to pass a drug screening and a background test. Being bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. Ability to drive vehicles with a manual transmission is a plus. Salary constitutes weekly base pay + 10% commission on gross profit. No cap on commission. Core Responsibilities Customer Engagement Approach, greet, and assist customers walking into the showroom or lot. Accompany customers on test drives and verify their information. Qualify buyers and suggest products by understanding the customer's income, lifestyle, and personal needs. Guide the customer through the buying/leasing process, negotiate pricing, trade-in values, and financing options. Lead Generation & Advertising Answer telephone calls and assist potential customers over the phone. Record, track, and follow up on leads from phone calls, in-person visits, social media, website inquiries, and lead generation platforms. Assist in advertising vehicles and maintaining the business website by keeping it up to date with current inventory, high-quality photos, informative descriptions, and ensuring all vehicle information is accurate. Maintain General Vehicle Cleanliness, Appearance, and Compliance Ensure vehicles are relatively clean and ready for potential buyers: Interior surfaces wiped down and dust-free, light vacuuming of the floor/matts/seats, windows and exterior free of excessive dirt and smudges. You will not be responsible for fully detailing the vehicle, only light cleanings after a detail to make sure the vehicle is presentable for the customer. Ensure each vehicle has a Buyer's Guide, price, and relevant marketing information. Inspect new vehicles and complete intake checklists, noting areas of concern. Other Responsibilities Light property/lot maintenance and upkeep: Replacing marketing flags, turning on/off inflatables, moving inventory when needed, etc. Maintain office organization and cleanliness. Assisting in opening and closing procedures.
