Job Description

Sales Representative
  • Packaging & Supply South Elgin, IL | Full-Time |
Direct Hire Schedule:
Standard Monday-Friday business hours.(Open to Hybrid) Roth IRA available. No health benefits
  • Compensation:
    $70K
  • 100K base + uncapped commission (flexible based on experience), realistic six-figure earning potential.
A growing industrial packaging and supply company is hiring a Sales Representative to help manage and expand business across packaging, pallets, shipping supplies, warehouse consumables, safety/janitorial products, and related industrial solutions. This is a great fit for someone with B2B sales experience in packaging, pallets, industrial distribution, warehouse supplies, logistics, shipping supplies, manufacturing support, or a similar product/service category. The company is open to both junior and senior level candidates if the industry fit and culture fit are strong.
What You'll Do:
  • Prospect new business through calls, referrals, networking, and in-person visits
  • Grow existing customer accounts through relationship-based selling
  • Sell products such as pallets, stretch film, tape, corrugated boxes, strapping, labels, warehouse supplies, janitorial/safety products, and related materials
  • Visit customer sites to understand operations, product needs, and buying patterns
  • Prepare quotes, pricing, proposals, and product recommendations
  • Negotiate and close profitable business
  • Maintain CRM activity, pipeline updates, and territory planning
  • Partner with internal operations/logistics teams to support customers
What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years of B2B sales preferred
  • Packaging, pallets, industrial supply, warehouse supply, logistics, distribution, or related sales experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable prospecting and visiting customers
  • Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated, professional, and comfortable in a smaller team environment
  • Able to work in the South Elgin office at least part-time
