Full-Time About Doors of IT Doors of IT is a Jacksonville-based IT services company focused on helping businesses open the right door to secure, reliable, and well-designed technology solutions. Our core work includes identity systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, infrastructure support, security hardening, migrations, documentation, disaster recovery planning, and IT project support. We are looking for a sharp, motivated person who wants to get in on the ground floor of a growing IT company. This role is ideal for someone who either has early IT experience or has strong sales/business development ability and wants to learn the technical side of enterprise IT. About the Role This is not a basic help desk job, and it is not a traditional sales job. This is a growth role. You will learn how Doors of IT evaluates customer environments, identifies business problems, documents technical needs, supports client conversations, and helps bring in new opportunities. You may grow into one of two paths:Technical Path:
Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, infrastructure, migrations, security hardening, and client delivery.Business Development Path:
prospecting, client meetings, proposal support, relationship building, and selling IT services. The right person does not need to know everything on day one. They do need to be hungry, professional, coachable, organized, and willing to learn. Responsibilities Assist with identifying and contacting potential business clients in the Jacksonville market. Help schedule discovery calls, meetings, and follow-ups. Learn the Doors of IT service offerings, including identity, infrastructure, security, migrations, and support services. Participate in client discovery conversations and take clear notes. Help prepare basic proposals, follow-up emails, service summaries, and client documentation. Learn foundational concepts around Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server, identity security, and Microsoft 365. Maintain a pipeline of prospects, conversations, and follow-up actions. Support internal documentation, checklists, procedures, and repeatable service packages. Represent Doors of IT professionally with business owners, IT leaders, and decision makers. What We Are Looking For Someone who is curious and willing to learn. Helpful Experience You do not need all of these, but any of these are a plus: Active Directory exposure Microsoft 365 or Entra ID exposure Help desk or desktop support experience Windows Server experience Sales or business development experience Customer service experience Managed service provider experience Cybersecurity interest Military, defense, healthcare, or enterprise IT exposure Ability to write professional emails and document conversations Compensation Base salary: $44,000 per yearCommission:
3% commission on qualified new business sold and collected Commission applies to approved new client revenue generated through the employee's direct involvement, subject to company commission policy. Development Plan This role includes a structured learning and development path. During the first 90 days, the employee will be expected to complete core training in: Doors of IT services Active Directory fundamentals Microsoft Entra ID basics Windows Server basics Client discovery process Prospecting and follow-up process Proposal and documentation basics The goal is for the employee to complete at least 40% of the internal competency path within the first 90 days , with continued development toward either a technical delivery role or business development role. 90-Day Expectations By the end of 90 days, the employee should be able to: Clearly explain what Doors of IT does Identify potential client opportunities Make professional outreach calls and emails Track leads and follow-ups Understand basic Active Directory terminology Understand the difference between AD, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, and server infrastructure Sit in on client calls and take useful notes Help prepare simple follow-up summaries and proposals Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and initiative Why Join Doors of IT?
