Job Description

Sebastian River Farms, LLC and our partner nursery, Perkins Nursery, LLC are excited to announce this new role. Perkins Nursery, LLC was founded in 1977 and is one of Florida's leading wholesale growers of native landscape plant material, serving restoration contractors, land managers, and green industry professionals statewide from their operation in LaBelle, FL. This Operations and Sales Coordinator role splits roughly 70% operations and 30% sales. This is a hands-on position that supports daily production, logistics and customer-facing activities across our multi-entity nursery operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agricultural environment, enjoys solving operational challenges, and can build strong relationships with customers and internal teams. If you are passionate about plants, people, and purpose - this is your change to get in on the front side. What you'll do Coordinate daily nursery workflow with the production lead, covering production, pulling, staging, and shipping activities. Monitor inventory accuracy across blocks, greenhouses, and holding areas, and perform cycle counts and system updates. Inspect plant material for quality issues and communicate corrective actions to the appropriate team members. Oversee order fulfillment logistics, including load planning, routing, and driver communication. Complete routine irrigation system inspections and maintenance. Oversee regular maintenance on tractors, gators, and other vehicles. Serve as a primary point of contact for wholesale customers, contractors, and restoration partners, handling quotes, availability lists, and order confirmations. Collaborate with the Sales Manager on demand forecasting, lead tracking, and outbound sales follow-ups, and represent the nursery at tradeshows and networking events as needed. What you'll bring Three or more years of experience in nursery, agriculture, landscaping, or a related operational environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills suited to a wholesale customer base. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and order management or inventory systems. Bilingual in Spanish preferred to support a wider range of customer and team interactions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel overnight for out-of-town events. Self-starter with solid organizational skills and consistent follow-through on tasks.
