Job Description
Boat Sales New, Used, Brokerage Marco Yacht Sales is looking for a motivated, outgoing, successful boating and yachting professional to join our sales team. The job entails new, used, consigned and brokered boat sales including: listings, sales & closings. Candidates must have minimum 2 years prior sales experience in the marine industry. Boating and systems experience is required. Duties Identify viable leads, manage prospects and acquire new leads to meet and exceed revenue goals CRM scheduled phone calls, emails, texts to establish initial clients and follow-up appointments. Document contact information and customer requirements. Build customer folders and trans Use the company's sales/lead management system on a daily basis for scheduling and documenting all customer activity Schedule (minimum 1 day a week) at outside Marinas. Network with staff and clients. Make the rounds in all departments with business cards in hand in search of new relationships that could lead to sales, jobs, partnerships or introductions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years boat broker or boat sales within the industry Valid driver's license Flexibility on appointments Personal appearance; Must be presentable and well groomed within dress code Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to maintain and expand our customer base. Dedication to delivery of excellent customer service. Up To Date computer skills. Understanding of vessel systems up to 50′. Be able to operate and captain vessels through southwest Florida waterways. Only qualified applicants need apply A commission based compensation plan. Hourly compensation for transports, light service work and some admin and yard duties. Broker bonding fees paid by MYS. State licensing paid by applicant. Office and all administration tools provided with cell phone. Success depends on your ability to meet new people and develop an organized skill set.
