Unmatched Marine specializes in custom SeaDek marine flooring, helping boat owners improve the comfort, appearance, and functionality of their boats. We handle the process from consultation and digital templating through custom fabrication and installation. We're looking for an outgoing, organized, and motivated Inside Sales Representative & Project Coordinator who can build relationships with customers, turn inquiries into sales, and keep projects moving smoothly. This is a sales-focused position with customer service and coordination responsibilities—not simply an administrative or scheduling role. You should enjoy talking with customers, helping them choose the right solution, following up on opportunities, and confidently asking for the sale. What You'll Do Turn inquiries into sales. Respond to incoming calls, emails, texts, and online leads. Learn about each customer's boat, desired coverage, budget, and timeline, then guide them toward the right SeaDek project. Follow up and close business. Proactively follow up on estimates, reconnect with interested customers, answer questions, address pricing concerns, and help customers move forward with their project and deposit. Sell the value of our products and service. Explain SeaDek options, colors, patterns, coverage areas, and our custom fabrication and installation process. Help customers understand what they're purchasing and what makes a professionally completed project worthwhile. Prepare quotes and maintain sales records. Gather boat information, photos, measurements, and project details to prepare or coordinate accurate estimates. Keep customer conversations, quotes, next steps, and follow-up dates current in Zoho CRM. Coordinate projects after the sale. Work with customers and our field, design, and production teams to schedule consultations, scans, and installations; collect outstanding information; and coordinate design approvals and payment milestones. Take ownership of sales opportunities and the customer experience. Stay on top of open quotes, work toward sales goals, communicate realistic expectations, and make sure customers receive timely updates throughout their project. What We're Looking For Sales ability and follow-through. Experience in inside sales, retail sales, marine sales, or another customer-facing sales position is preferred. You should be comfortable discussing pricing, addressing objections, and asking customers to move forward. Boat knowledge is recommended. Familiarity with different boat types, brands, layouts, and common boating terminology is a strong plus. Experience in the marine industry, boat ownership, or regular time on the water is valuable. Clear, personable communication. You can build rapport over the phone, write professional emails and texts, and explain product options without overwhelming the customer. Organization and computer skills. You can manage multiple customers and projects without losing track of details. Experience with CRM software—especially Zoho—is a plus. Who Will Do Well Here Someone who takes initiative rather than waiting for the phone to ring. You notice when a quote needs another follow-up, when a customer needs help making a decision, and when a project is missing information. You enjoy earning business while building trust and delivering a positive customer experience.
