The Villages Exquisite Pool & Spa specializes in custom designed swimming pools, spas and outdoor living spaces. We are seeking an experienced design consultant and outside sales representative to join our team. The ideal candidate combines sales ability, design creativity, construction knowledge, and exceptional communication skills . This individual will work closely with homeowners to understand their vision, develop solutions that fit their lifestyle and budget, and present professional pool and outdoor living designs. This is a relationship-driven position with significant earning potential for someone who is competitive, organized, self-motivated, and passionate about creating exceptional outdoor spaces. In this job, you will operate as a 1099 contractor and be paid by commission. Most leads are supplied by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Development Respond to and follow up with qualified leads in a timely and professional manner Conduct in-home consultations and/or site visits with prospective customers Build strong relationships with homeowners and establish trust throughout the sales process Identify customer needs, design preferences, and budget expectations Educate customers on pool construction, materials, equipment, finishes, features, timelines, and investment considerations Conduct professional sales presentations and communicate the value of the company's products and services Consistently follow up with prospects and move opportunities through the sales process Pool & Outdoor Living Design Develop creative pool and outdoor living concepts based on the customer's property, lifestyle, and budget Prepare preliminary pool layouts, elevations, and conceptual designs Incorporate features such as spas, tanning ledges, waterfalls, fire features, outdoor kitchens, patios, retaining walls, landscaping, lighting, and other outdoor living elements Review property conditions, access, elevations, drainage, setbacks, easements, and other factors that may affect construction Collaborate with estimators, engineers, and construction personnel to ensure designs are practical and buildable Revise designs based on customer feedback while maintaining project feasibility and profitability Present design concepts professionally and explain design decisions and construction considerations to customers Ensure proposed designs accurately reflect the scope and pricing presented to the customer Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales, residential construction, design, or a related field Pool construction or outdoor living design experience strongly preferred Proven ability to sell high-value products or services through a consultative sales process Strong understanding of residential construction concepts and the ability to learn pool construction processes Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel locally for customer consultations and job-site visits Preferred Qualifications Previous swimming pool construction and design experience Experience with pool design software such as Structure Studios/Pool Studio or similar platforms Experience with CAD or 3D design software Existing knowledge of pool equipment, construction methods, materials, finishes, and building requirements Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Job Compensation:
