8:00am-4:30pm The role you'll contribute: The Tertiary Cardiology Physician Relations Specialist is responsible for growing hospital volumes, market share, and brand preference for tertiary cardiology services in the Tampa Bay area. The scope of tertiary cardiology includes services such as open heart, structural heart, electrophysiology, and advanced heart failure. The position is responsible for maximizing growth opportunities, ensuring physician satisfaction with a specific focus on meeting with community based & hospital employed physicians, and office staff, executing on new business development, service line growth, and physician communication. The position works collaboratively with key stakeholders including physicians, business development, hospital leadership, strategic planning, physician relations, marketing, service line leadership, care navigation, corporate communications, and other key teams to achieve overall market performance and business strategy goals. The value you'll bring to the team: Manages targeted physicians and practices to develop and retain referrals. Identifies, initiates, and maintains contact with targeted referral sources. Develops and maintains relationships with physicians in the assigned territory to present services and foster business relationships. Makes face-to-face contacts and presentations to current referring physicians and potential prospects. Conducts proactive fieldwork with targeted physicians and their office staff to identify needs and match them with organizational offerings. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, including verbal, written, and public speaking (platform skills) [Required] Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships and loyalty to the hospital as well as develop new referral sources [Required] Demonstrate initiative, poise, confidence, and willingness to accept challenges [Required] Ability to travel between hospital and physician offices [Required] Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position [Required]Education:
