Who You Are You are an outgoing, relationship-driven professional with strong communication and business development skills who thrives on building community partnerships and connecting patients with meaningful clinical research opportunities. You are confident networking with healthcare providers, clinics, and community organizations while also engaging directly with patients to educate, recruit, and support them throughout the enrollment process. You are organized, self-motivated, and comfortable balancing recruitment goals, outreach initiatives, and patient engagement in a fast-paced healthcare environment. What You'll Do You will play a key role in driving patient recruitment and business development efforts for clinical research studies, including psychiatric, obesity, weight loss, and specialty trials. You will build referral relationships, develop community partnerships, conduct outreach initiatives, and recruit qualified participants while supporting enrollment growth and strengthening the organization's presence within the community.
Business Development & Community Partnerships:
Build and maintain professional relationships with physician offices, healthcare providers, clinics, hospitals, mental health facilities, community organizations, and referral partners to generate patient referrals and increase study awareness
Patient Recruitment & Outreach:
Conduct outreach to prospective participants through phone calls, online inquiries, social media campaigns, marketing initiatives, community events, referral networks, and direct engagement efforts to meet enrollment goals
Referral Network Growth:
Identify opportunities to expand referral pipelines and strengthen partnerships with external organizations, providers, and community resources to support ongoing recruitment initiatives
Participant Screening & Eligibility:
Pre-screen potential participants using approved study criteria, scripts, and protocols to identify eligible candidates for clinical research studies
Patient Education & Engagement:
Educate patients on clinical trial opportunities, study expectations, participation requirements, and informed consent processes while providing a supportive and professional patient experience Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagemen t: Work closely with Clinical Research Coordinators, investigators, providers, marketing teams, and operations staff to support recruitment strategies, enrollment planning, and study execution
Recruitment Tracking & Reporting :
Maintain accurate recruitment records, communication logs, scheduling updates, referral tracking, and enrollment pipeline activity within EMR systems and recruitment databases
Retention & Follow-Up:
Maintain ongoing communication with leads and enrolled participants to improve engagement, retention, and overall study participation
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all recruitment and outreach activities comply with HIPAA, FDA, IRB, OSHA, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), SOPs, and company policies while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Marketing & Community Engagement Support:
Assist with recruitment campaigns, patient-facing communications, educational materials, health fairs, community events, and outreach initiatives designed to increase visibility and patient engagement Other Duties as
Assigned:
Support additional recruitment, outreach, business development, and clinical operations activities as needed What You'll Bring Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in healthcare, communications, marketing, business, psychology, or a related field 1+ year of experience in patient recruitment, healthcare outreach, business development, sales, customer service, call center operations, or clinical research preferred Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with healthcare providers, clinics, or community organizations preferred Previous clinical research recruitment experience preferred Experience recruiting for psychiatric, obesity, weight loss, or specialty studies preferred Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients and referral partners Comfortable handling high call volumes, outreach efforts, and community engagement activities in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail Ability to multitask, manage follow-up workflows, and work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical research processes, HIPAA, GCP, and informed consent procedures preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, EMR systems, scheduling platforms, CRM systems, and recruitment tracking tools preferred Comfortable working with low-income, ALS, and mental health patient populations and community facilities Reliable method of transportation with the ability and willingness to travel to clinic locations, physician offices, and community partners as needed to support outreach, recruitment, and business development initiatives Commitment to ethical research practices, patient confidentiality, and regulatory compliance What We Offer Comprehensive Medical Plans Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability Employer-paid Life Insurance Voluntary Benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Vacation Time Paid Sick Time Paid Federal Holidays Millage Reimbursement Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state of Florida, and local employment laws.
