We are know for durability, American-made, and strong dealer partnerships. Dirt Dog is part of Consolidated Equipment Group (CEG).About CEG:
Consolidated Equipment Group (CEG) is a leading designer, manufacture, and marketer of skid-steer attachments, mini-skid steer attachments, tractor implements, high-capacity grapples, augers/auger drive heads, and several other attachments for construction equipment. Their mission is to build equipment for those who will not compromise. CEG offers over 140 products under the brands, Erskine, Quick Attach, Dirt Dog, Pro Dig , and Agile (GrabTec & Miller). The company has approximately 300 employees with manufacturing facilities in Fosston, MN, Commerce, GA, St. Joseph, MO, and Sioux Falls, SD. The Erskine division has been in business since 1948. The corporate office is in Alexandria, MN. CEG uses a multi-channel approach to be the attachment manufacture of choice by their customers and distributors. Job Summary A successful Dirt Dog Sales Specialists conducts important inside sales work, such as, proactively engaging with existing dealers, entering new orders, data clean-up in SalesForce, supporting marketing promotions with follow up calls, and reaching out to new dealer opportunities. This role collaborates with the outside sales team, as well as other cross-functional departments such as parts & warranty, finance, and operations. This position is a key point of contact for estimated shipment dates, product questions, and other general sales inquiries. This role will be fully trained on Dirt Dog products, understanding the features, advantages, and benefits. The Dirt Dog Sales Specialist will also be trained in SalesForce best practices, ensuring that their activities are logged correctly. This role drives value by increasing distributor sales and supporting other internal functions. The Dirt Dog Sales Specialist role provides a strong foundation for other development opportunities within Dirt Dog and CEG. Job Description Sales process & excellence Maintains product knowledge and pricing for all Dirt Dog products and assists other team members with questions regarding such information. Has a complete knowledge of all Dirst Dog sales, marketing, and service materials. Accounts for actions taken by using SalesForce to log activities. Supports outside sales team with quotes, follow ups, and account coordination. Maintain accurate pricing and customer records. Outlines proactive sales work to support the outside sales team and dealer network, such as contacting old dealers, or placing follow up calls on new product offerings. Supports general clerical and administrative tasks related to sales operations and customer data clean up in SalesForce. Maintains an exceptional brand standard while following the company mission. Actively seeks and participates in a variety of sales and professional development mediums to include corporate sales meetings, video training, as well as other sources. Develops a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends. Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. Leverages company provided tools, like Sales Force, to assist or complete the documentation, tracking, follow up, and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner. Dirt Dog distributor support Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails. Use the company database to engage with existing dealers to understand their needs, new opportunities, and build positive working relationships. Answers questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms. Enter, track, and manage sales orders from placement through shipment. Communicate and support inquiries on delivery dates and lead times. Support outside sales team with new product launches and follow up. Leverages the Dirt Dog distributor program to build long-term success. Stays current with all marketing and financing promotions that can support dealers. Pioneering new business Leverage company data base to conduct research on new opportunities for Erskine products. Collaborate with marketing on promotions to engage new partnerships. Support outside sales team with obtaining proper financial information needed by the accounting/finance departments to set up new dealers. Proactive in examining dealer opportunities in new geographies - collaborate with outside sales team on targets. Other Performs other duties as assigned. Responsible for handling other sales team members' customers with professionalism. Attending trade shows as requested by management. Create reports and support data management requests as instructed by manager. Ensure professionalism is always at the highest level, reflecting positively of CEG. Supports and conforms to Quality Management System requirements as defined by CEG andISO 9001

A four-year university degree in marketing/sales is preferred. 2-3 years prior inside selling, customer service, or sales support experience preferred. Strong communications and interpersonal capabilities. Exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and using a computer - SalesForce experience is a plus. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to learn technical products and applications. Team player that uses collaboration. Integrity that is above reproach. Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.Similar remote jobs
