Job Description

Design & Project Consultant We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design & Project Consultant to join our team. This role offers a structured training program followed by a transition into a dynamic, client-facing sales position. Phase 1: Training & Showroom Support (First Month) During the initial training period, you will develop a strong foundation in our products, systems, and customer experience standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients in the showroom to provide product information and support Build product knowledge to confidently guide customer decisions Prepare and edit client quotes with accuracy Process payments and assist with transactions Recommend products tailored to customer needs and preferences
Compensation & Schedule:
Salary-based compensation Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Phase 2: Design Consultant / Outside Sales (Post-Training) Upon successful completion of Phase 1 and demonstrated product proficiency, you will transition into a full-time outside sales role. Field training will be provided to ensure continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients and industry partners to recommend products, colors, styles, and operating solutions aligned with project goals and budgets Develop design plans that complement existing spaces and meet client expectations Conduct site visits to gather detailed information, including measurements, photos, and installation requirements Maintain organized client profiles with all relevant project details Prepare comprehensive quotes by entering product selections into the system and coordinating with internal teams Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry partners
Compensation & Schedule:
Base salary plus commission Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Benefits & Perks Paid vacation Paid company holidays, including: New Year's Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day & the following Friday Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Additional Resources Company vehicle provided for work-related travel during the regular workday (upon transition to outside sales role)
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
