Job Description

This may include, but not limited to, giving information on the facility, products and services, assisting with reservations, and collecting payments for both new Members and Dealer/Tenant clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promote the sale of slips, covered storage, and self-service yard.

Local outreach to improve relations with dealers, brokers, and anyone identified as potential candidates for leases or onsite marketing possibilities.

Bi-weekly sales calls with marketing to review trends and advise on digital marketing needs.

Developing and maintaining effective and friendly working relationships with local dealers, brokers, members, guests and dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully.

Handle incoming digital leads and assist with property tours.

Coordinate Boat Shows, expos & other events to promote the property.

Arrange for marketing photoshoots as needed for promotions and website updates.

Conduct annual rate comparability studies within the region.

Responding to member questions and needs via phone, email and in-person.

Provide information on marina products and services.

Providing excellent customer service.

Dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully.

Able to work weekends and flexible schedule as needed.

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related trainingWear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work areaReport all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately Technical and Physical Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior marina experience preferredPrevious customer service experience preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to sit for long periods of timeAbility to lift 10 pounds Minimum Soft Skill Qualifications Prior sales experience preferred.
