Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Capital City Mechanical Services and drive growth by securing new clients for our Preventive Maintenance services. This role focuses on proactive lead generation, cold calling, networking, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers across target industries. The ideal candidate is confident, persistent, and relationship-oriented, with the ability to initiate conversations that convert into qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify and research potential clients who can benefit from Preventive Maintenance programs
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads
  • Use multiple prospecting channels including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry databases
  • Track and manage prospects in CRM system Cold Calling & Outreach
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to introduce services and generate interest
  • Set appointments for sales consultations or site assessments
  • Overcome objections professionally and confidently
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture opportunities
Networking & Relationship Building:
  • Networking & Relationship Building
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and local business networking meetings
  • Develop strategic relationships with facility managers, property managers, operations managers, and business owners
  • Establish referral partnerships with complementary service providers
  • Represent the company professionally in all external engagements
Opportunity Development:
  • Qualify leads based on company criteria
  • Coordinate with operations or sales teams to transition qualified prospects
  • Maintain accurate reporting on activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
