Flooring Sales Representative

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout their shopping experience. Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, offering tailored product recommendations. Utilize effective selling techniques, including upselling and negotiating, to maximize sales opportunities. Process transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including product displays and inventory management. Stay informed about product features, promotions, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable assistance. Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve sales skills and product knowledge. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or inside sales is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse customers; multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficient in cash handling and point-of-sale systems. A background or interest in lighting design or interior design is advantageous. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience. A proactive approach to upselling products based on customer needs and preferences. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the store schedule.
