About the Role As a Business Development Representative , you'll be the face of SERVPRO®, promoting and educating our services to insurance professionals, property managers, facility leaders, and other key decision-makers. Your mission is to grow our customer base by consistently identifying new prospects, cultivating relationships, and positioning SERVPRO® as the go-to restoration partner. Using tools like our SERVPRO® Key Differentiators and Emergency Ready Plans (ERPs), you'll educate clients on why SERVPRO® is the trusted leader in cleaning and restoration. What You'll Do Build strong relationships and rapport with Centers of Influence (COIs) by highlighting why SERVPRO® is the best in the industry. Provide guidance and support to people in their time of need. Complete and deliver Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs) , helping businesses prepare for emergencies before they happen. Maintain accurate COI records in our CRM and update daily activity. Monitor referrals, ensuring customer needs are met and expectations exceeded. Schedule and support owner/manager closing appointments with COIs to drive referrals. Actively participate in professional associations, networking events, and educational sessions (e.g., lunch-and-learns). Consistently strive to exceed expectations in performance and professionalism. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in business development, or sales (restoration industry experience is a plus). Strong customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication. High energy, self-starter, with a competitive drive. Process-oriented and results-focused mindset. Salesforce or CRM experience preferred but not required. Ability to successfully complete a background check (as required by law).
