Elevate Your Experience with Our Inside Sales Team by Unlocking Manufacturing Solutions Copper State Bolt & Nut is seeking an experienced Inside Salesperson with Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, General Construction and or Industrial experience to join our team! You will be responsible for providing support to outside and inside salespeople to develop long-term relationships with assigned customers and act as liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure a successful customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Support customers contacting CSBN by phone, fax, e-mail, website, or in person: Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner. Help customers identify the right products for their specific application. Suggest products that the customer may also need to complement their purchase. Ensure that special items or quotations are processed quickly, and that customers are advised of the status of their order and made aware when product is ready. Ensure that will-call orders placed in advance by customers are entered in the system giving enough time to the warehouse or will-call employees to pull and stage the order so that they are ready for immediate pickup when the customer arrives. Confirm and expedite customer orders and quotations. Follow-up with customers and suppliers as necessary to ensure that orders placed are delivered on time or that customers are advised of problems. Follow-up with customers on quotations submitted to ensure that we are awarded the business or advised if we are not. Share sales leads with
Outside Sales, Marketing, or Branch Manager:
Recognize new customers or businesses that may have potential for increased sales and that should receive contact from an Outside Sales representative. Utilize resources of other sales employees to ensure that customer questions are answered, and that product information is made available to customers as applicable.
Decision/Information Sharing and Communication:
Ongoing communication with other sales and branch employees to support customers. Ongoing communication with Purchasing to ensure that sourcing information or special items are reviewed to ensure timely and accurate P.O.s to support customer orders. Communication with Accounting to ensure that customer credit guidelines are followed, including establishing new accounts and setting up pre-lien programs.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as Sales Assistant, Account Manager, Sales Administrator, Customer Service, or Sales Support Experience with ERP systems and data management Expertise in MS Office, including intermediate or expert level in
Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Hours:
M-F, 7am - 4pm
