Description Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Automation Specialist to support our Industrial customers across Eastern Iowa. This role is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of experience in automation, controls, or electrical distribution who enjoys working directly with customers, solving problems, and driving technical solutions in the field. This position is field-based, with travel throughout Eastern Iowa. Candidates can be based anywhere within the territory. Travel is frequent, but overnight stays are minimal.

Sales Manager Minimum Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in automation, controls, or electrical distribution Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, PLCs, and control components Preferred experience with Square D / Schneider Electric products Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout Eastern Iowa Willingness to commit to completing Alliance Certified Training within an agreed-upon timeframe

Conditions vary based on the customer location and may include construction, warehouse, manufacturing, office, or external environments. Some activities may include walking, standing, climbing in various conditions including extreme heat or cold. Essential functions will require travel to customer locations.
