A growing financial services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Commissions Analyst to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This individual will play a key role in preparing and processing commissions while supporting reporting, analytics, discrepancy resolution, and contract maintenance efforts.Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and process commissions for payment accurately and timely.
- Review and analyze production reporting and commission data.
- Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies and payment issues.
- Respond to questions related to commissions, contracts, and payouts.
- Maintain payout grids, commission records, and contracts.
- Conduct licensing and contracting research as needed.
- Research and understand commission structures across multiple insurance carriers and products.
- Review monthly commission statements from insurance carriers.
- Communicate commission processes and updates to internal teams and agents.
- Partner with advisors and internal stakeholders to support commission operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience within insurance, commissions processing, financial services, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and work independently.
- Experience with commission processing, reporting, or insurance products is highly preferred.
