Job Summary Under supervision, the Inside Sales Representative acquires new customers, upgrades or converts current customer accounts from transactional waste only service to value added service offerings. Obtains incremental revenue through sales calls, lead campaigns and prospecting. Sells value-added services such as online OSHA portal and training to assist with compliance issues as well as medical waste collection to high value LQG Affiliated customers. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + ReceivesinboundcallsandmakesoutboundsalescallstoperspectiveandexistingcustomerstosellStericycle'sservicesand/orproducts. Acquiresnewcustomersandconvertsexistingcustomersthroughprospectinginassignedterritory, outboundmarketing / leadcampaignsandreferrals. Effectivelyutilizesconsultativesellingstrategiestoattain a minimum 100% ofassignedrevenueandquotagoals. + Builds a pipelineofpotentialfuturebusinessbyprospectingviamarketing / leadcampaigns, territorylists, the Internet andothersourcesidentified. + Based upontheRulesofEngagementpolicy, allprospects / callsmustberesearched, verifiedviathe Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) tool. The salesrepresentativewilldetermineifanothersalesrepiscurrentlyengagedorhasinitiatedcontactwiththeaccount, iftheprospectisintheirassignedterritory, and / orwhichdepartmentisbestsuitedtohandletheprospect. All specialcircumstancesincludingcrossterritoryopportunitiesmustbeproperlydocumentedandeithertransferredorsharedaccordingtotheRulesofEngagementpolicy. + Effectivelyusesinternetandotherresourcestobetterunderstandclient'sindustryandbusinessneeds. + Effectivelymeetorexceedassignedperformancemetricsandkeyexpectationswithinassignedparametersincludingnumberofoutboundcalls, closerates, averageordersizeandtaskmanagementactivities (i.e. salescycle, pipelineandcasemanagement). Track detailsandresultsforallleads, opportunities, issuesandlosses. + Forecastmonthandquartersaleswithin 5% ofactualresults + Target upgradeandcross-sellopportunitiesofadditionalStericycleproducts/services. + Effectivelyusetechnology-based Customer Relationship Management toolforleadfollowup, salescycledisposition, pipelinemanagement, forecastingandlostopportunitytracking. Keepscomprehensiveandaccuratenotesinthesystem. + Effectivelyqualifiesclientsthroughconsultativesellingstrategies. + Assist/Support anyotherspecificassignedprojectsand/orjob-relateddutiesasrequiredorrequested. + Performotherdutiesandresponsibilities, asassigned. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications + Bachelor'sDegreein Sales/Marketing, ortheequivalentinrelatedworkexperience + 2 yearsin Sales/Marketing relatedworkexperience, demonstratingtheabilitytomanageanddevelopexistingandprospectiveaccounts B. Combination:
This job operates in a mix between an office environment and plant/field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.
Pay:
The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $19.58 - $25.64. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
