Job Summary GTS Transportation is seeking a motivated, high-energy Carrier Sales Representative to join our in-office team in Burr-Ridge, IL. Employment Type & Schedule:
Full-time, W2, 100% in-office. Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CDT. What You'll Do (Your Day-to-Day):
Build Capacity:
Actively phone source and recruit new trucking carriers while maintaining existing relationships to secure reliable freight capacity
Negotiate Rates:
Buy transit capacity at competitive rates based on market trends, seasonal lane volatility, and historical data to protect profit margins
Track & Trace:
Monitor booked loads from dispatch to final delivery, providing proactive updates to internal operations teams
Resolve Issues:
Act quickly to solve basic transit challenges, mechanical breakdowns, or missed windows to minimize service disruptions
Maintain System Accuracy:
Update the Transportation Management System (TMS) in real-time with precise load status, carrier details, and pricing info What You Bring to the

Experience:
2+ years of direct experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or inside logistics sales (Required)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Required)
Languages:
Full professional fluency in both English and Russian (Preferred, but not required)
Technical:
Proficiency working within a Transportation Management System (TMS) and standard load boards (DAT, Truckstop)
Work Style:
Driven, self-motivated individual who excels under pressure and meets daily volume and call goals Compensation We offer a base salary of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, plus commission on top — because we believe your hard work should be rewarded.
