Position Summary As Territory Sales Coordinator, you will be tasked by the Territory Manager for the day-to-day implementation of sales and distribution operations within the territory. Working closely with your Territory Sales Manager
  • DSD you will provide essential route coverage within the territory and have full accountability for the in-store presence of KFF as a brand and company in your assigned geography.
You'll train, develop, and influence a roster of Route Sales Representatives (RSRs) while, occasionally, interacting with KFF customer support, transportation, maintenance, and safety teams at the direction of the TSM. Success in this role requires an unmatched sense of urgency to match the fast-paced requirements of Fresh Food Direct Store Delivery operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key Position essential functions and responsibility: management of the territory sales team and fleet to best maintain servicing the customer to a high level and developing long term collaborative relationships and growth.   • Meet regularly with your Territory Sales Manager to aid in retention, and develop the team of RSR's, provide feedback and ensure team members know what success looks like, communicate gaps, and solve scheduling opportunities. Route Coverage
  • Provide route coverage across the territory for vacations, call-ins, and open routes. Route coverage in other territories when needed. Equipment
  • Work with
TSM, KFF
fleet maintenance and safety teams to ensure KFF fleet equipment in your geographic area is in good working condition. Facilitate truck swaps, repairs, and fleet maintenance upkeep. Customers
  • Provide unmatched customer communication and service and complete customer audits as directed by the TSM. Business Development
  • Conduct route rides at the direction of the TSM. Work with RSR's and TSM to maximize profitability within the current customer base in addition to prospecting and selling of new customers. Routes
  • Review route efficiency regularly with Territory Sales Manager to ensure KFF Fresh DSD routes are servicing your geography efficiently and profitably. Make suggestions for route adjustments to accommodate route growth, new customer additions or subtractions. Supply
  • Ensure weekly orders are made in a timely fashion to allow KFF supply chain to execute to perfection. Monitor route waste, inventory levels, and space efficiency as well as communicate any interruptions to your Territory Sales Manager. Product
  • Review product performance across the territory. Provide suggestions for production on local products you'd like to see offered and ensure new item launches are executed to expectations. Quality
  • Ensure product quality is maintained throughout the supply chain by regularly inspecting temperature monitoring software's and doing regular shelf audits for product specification adherence. Report inconsistencies back to customer service as required. Compliance
  • Ensure staff adhere to all local and regional laws and regulations as it pertains to interstate commerce.
Address non-conformance as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 5+ years in route, territory or sales experience required. Direct Store or direct to consumer distribution experience preferred. A strong work ethic with a desire to exceed expectations both internally and externally. Demonstrated self-motivation and leadership abilities are required. Exceptional planning and organizational skills, the ability to set priorities and the ability to effectively schedule time and meet deadlines are required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Microsoft office products, Google Maps, etc. Must be willing to travel within territory with the potential for extended overnight stays. Able to obtain and maintain DOT Federal Medical Certificate. Maintain Valid Class C Driver's License.
