This position is focused on communicating with customers by phone, text, and email, responding to vehicle inquiries, following up with leads, and setting qualified appointments for our sales team. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, organized, persistent with follow-up, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive sales environment. Your primary goal will be to turn internet and phone leads into showroom appointments while providing excellent customer service from the customer's first interaction with our dealership. Duties Respond quickly and professionally to internet, website, phone, and third-party automotive leads Make a high volume of outbound calls, texts, and emails to prospective customers Answer incoming sales calls and assist customers with questions about available vehicles Contact customers who have submitted inquiries through websites such as CarGurus, AutoTrader, Cars.com, Facebook, and other lead sources Build rapport with customers and determine their vehicle needs, budget, and purchasing timeline Provide accurate information regarding vehicle availability, features, pricing, and dealership services Schedule and confirm appointments for customers to visit the dealership Follow up with customers who missed or canceled appointments and work to reschedule them Maintain consistent follow-up with customers who have not yet purchased a vehicle Enter detailed notes and update customer information accurately in the dealership's CRM system Work closely with sales managers and sales representatives to ensure appointments and leads are properly handled Follow up with previous customers and unsold showroom traffic to generate additional sales opportunities Meet or exceed daily and monthly goals for calls, conversations, appointments, show rates, and vehicle sales Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude during every interaction Requirements Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred Previous experience in BDC, automotive sales, phone sales, telemarketing, call center, or inside sales preferred Strong phone communication and customer service skills Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls every day Ability to confidently ask customers for appointments and follow up consistently Experience using an automotive CRM or lead management system is preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to communicate professionally through phone, text, and email Must be dependable, punctual, motivated, and goal-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment Strong follow-up skills and the ability to handle customer objections professionally Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software quickly Must work well individually and as part of a sales team
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
