With its roots dating back to the 1960s in Japan, Kanaflex innovated flexible PVC hose products before expanding its product offerings into rubber and urethane-based hose products. In addition to hose, Kanaflex also manufactures unique pipe solutions for sewer and wastewater applications. Our Kanapipe product is an innovative product aimed to replace aging and failing steel-reinforced concrete pipe products in the marketplace.
JOB SUMMARY
Kanaflex Corporation is seeking a detail oriented and reliable Inside Sales Administrator to support our Customer Service and Sales teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth order processing, efficient communication, and strong support across customer service, sales, and operations. The Inside Sales Administrator will assist with order entry, logistics coordination, account support, and administrative functions, while also serving as a key resource for the order desk and distributor programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Order Management:
Support the Customer Service team with order entry, order follow-ups, and general administrative tasks. Serve as a primary support resource for the order desk by assisting with incoming customer phone calls and email inquiries. Help identify and escalate customer issues to the appropriate team members to ensure timely resolution.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination:
Assist with shipping coordination as needed, including scheduling shipments, preparing documentation, and communicating with logistics partners. Work cross-functionally with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Sales & Account Support:
Support Key Account Managers with reporting, data entry, and account-related administrative tasks. Maintain accurate records and assist in preparing sales-related documentation and reports. Act as the primary sales administrator for the Distributor Incentive Program, including tracking, documentation, and communication support. Support National Sales Manager with CRM tasks and communication.
Cross-Functional Support & Team Efficiency:
Contribute to overall team efficiency by providing flexible support across customer service, sales, and operations functions. Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and ensure consistent communication across departments.
Systems & Administrative Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate data within internal systems, including ERP and CRM platforms. Ensure proper documentation and organization of customer orders, communications, and program tracking. Ability to be flexible as responsibilities are aligned within the work team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED 1-3
years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or administrative support roles, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
EXPERIENCE PERFFERED
Experience with ERP and CRM systems. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

TRAVEL REQUIRED
Ability to travel via a variety of methods including but not limited to: Automobile, Air, and Rail. Requires business travel to various sales territories and corporate headquarters. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed (up to 20%).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment includes a general office environment with low to medium noise. While traveling the work environment may be fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly on the move, with changes in location, time zones, and working environments, often requiring adaptability, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining connections with a remote team.

$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
