Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Vendor to join our team and drive our business growth through strategic partnerships and effective management of supplier relationships. As a vital link between our organization and external vendors, you will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining high-quality vendor collaborations. Your energetic approach and management expertise will help us expand our reach, optimize product offerings, and deliver exceptional value to our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in sales, business development, and account management within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Identify potential vendors through lead generation strategies such as cold calling, networking, and market analysis to expand our supplier base. Manage existing vendor relationships by ensuring timely communication, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations. Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase offerings and facilitate upselling opportunities that meet customer needs. Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize sales opportunities within designated regions or sectors. Utilize CRM software like Salesforce to track interactions, manage accounts, and analyze sales data for strategic planning. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop vendor-specific campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive B2B sales. Negotiate terms, prices, and service agreements with vendors while maintaining a focus on quality and profitability. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing vendor inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently to foster long-term partnerships. Experience Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales with a focus on technology or retail products. Demonstrated success in business development, account management, or territory management roles. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive relationships. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer data and sales pipelines. Excellent communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and negotiations confidently. Experience in inside sales or direct sales environments is advantageous. Analytical skills to assess market trends, evaluate vendor performance, and identify new opportunities for growth. Knowledge of marketing strategies related to product promotion and upselling techniques is a plus.
