Business Development & Office Coordinator Diabetic Equipment and Supplies (DES) Angola, IN | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Help us improve the lives of people living with diabetes. Diabetic Equipment and Supplies (DES) is looking for a motivated, organized, and self-driven Business Development Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and working independently while making a meaningful impact on patient care. As the primary employee in our Angola, Indiana satellite office, you'll play an important role in supporting business growth, coordinating referrals, communicating with healthcare providers, and ensuring our office operates smoothly each day. What You'll Do Build and maintain relationships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, diabetic educators, and referral partners. Contact provider offices by phone, email, and fax to generate new patient referrals. Manage referral workflows through email and EMR work queues. Assign referrals and coordinate communication between internal departments. Answer incoming phone calls and provide outstanding customer service. Create and maintain business development reports. Assist with marketing materials, provider mailers, and business development campaigns. Help other departments with projects and administrative tasks as needed. Serve as the primary on-site representative for the Angola office, ensuring the office remains open and operating during business hours. Work independently while collaborating remotely with the Business Development team located in Iowa. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Self-motivated and able to work independently. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. Professional and customer-service focused. Dependable, accountable, and proactive. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software systems. Able to build positive relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, medical offices, business development, marketing, customer service, or healthcare administration preferred. Experience with EMR systems or referral management is a plus. Strong computer and organizational skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Why Join DES?
