Company Description Curry Auto Center, Inc. is a locally owned and operated General Motors dealership in Bloomington, IN, offering for sale new Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles alongside pre-owned vehicles of all makes and models. Established in 1915, Curry Auto Center is the oldest family owned and operated Buick dealership within the country. The Curry reputation for providing exceptional sales and service has been built on over 110 years of caring for its employees and Bloomington community members. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a new and used vehicle Sales and Leasing Consultant at Curry Auto Center. The Sales and Leasing Consultant will be responsible for connecting and working closely with customers during the consulting phase and throughout the purchasing process, while ensuring customer satisfaction through an exceptional experience. Qualifications Sales experience
  • 2+ Years (Preferred) Customer acquisition experience
  • 1+ Years (Preferred) Automotive industry experience (or similar industry)
  • 1+ Years (Preferred) Sales consulting or similar consulting skills, with proven sales record.
Previous experience in sales or customer service roles preferred. Position requires a high level of self-motivation and ambition Must be proficient in assessing customer needs and determining the correct solution to meet those needs Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with both co-workers and clients in order to build good business relationships Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers Knowledge of vehicles and automotive industry trends preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets Duties and Responsibilities Guarantee satisfaction to customers, which is a fundamental for a successful business Listen to customers and ask questions to determine their vehicles needs Demonstrate vehicles, including the utilization of test drives Maintain an owner/customer follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction Attend Sales Department meetings Maintain a prospect development system including maintaining and entering customer information into a dealer management system Stay trained and educated on the latest product knowledge, features, and accessories and how these bring benefit to the customer Establish personal sales goals consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals Introduce customers to other departments throughout their purchase process to establish connections the customer can rely on during their ownership cycle Maintain a clean and safe working environment Assist management in maintaining the dealership's lot and its inventory Additional duties and responsibilities as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or the equivalent required. Additional education and training preferred. Ability to read and comprehend sales, marketing, and product materials Teachable and trainable Positive and productive attitude Ability to work well with others and in a team environment Professional personal appearance while at work Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to achieve, maintain, and exceed sales goals Ability to drive varying sizes of vehicles Clean driving record Valid Drivers License Authorized to work in the United States Experience Sales experience

  • 1+ Years (Preferred) Working Conditions Stand for periods of time both inside and outside Walk to and from all points of the dealership property (lot, service, reconditioning, parts, collision, etc.) Extended hours may be required to accomplish the job Weekends required Sales Department Schedule and Hours Monday
  • Friday:
    Shift One is 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM. Shift Two is 10:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM.
Saturday:
8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (All Sales Dept.
Staff) Regular day off throughout the week
Closed Sunday Compensation Pay Range:
$45,000
