Business-to-Business Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Our small locally owned wholesale distribution company is based on providing a positive experience for every business customer and fast delivery of the products they need. We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional to join our team in a hybrid Inside Sales and Customer Service role. This position combines relationship building, sales support, and exceptional customer service to help grow our business while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for an established portfolio of approximately 600 business-to-business (B2B) customers, providing exceptional support with orders, product inquiries, service requests, and account-related concerns. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by delivering professional, responsive, and solution-oriented service on every interaction. Accurately process customer orders and ensure all transactions are entered according to company policies and procedures. Maintain detailed and accurate customer records, communications, and transactions within the Sage ERP/CRM system. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, resolving issues efficiently while ensuring a positive customer experience. Proactively conduct outbound calls and email outreach to existing customers to promote products, communicate special offers, and identify additional sales opportunities. Generate and qualify new sales leads through prospecting efforts, referrals, and marketing initiatives to expand the customer base. Identify customer needs and recommend products or solutions that add value, increase customer satisfaction, and support business growth. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize order value while ensuring recommendations align with customer needs and objectives. Meet or exceed established sales, customer service, and activity goals, including outbound call targets, lead generation, and revenue objectives. Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Skills:
At least 18 or high school diploma or GED. Bi-lingual (Spanish fluency) is a plus and may be considered for increased compensation 1-3 years Customer service experience desired 1-3 years of Sales experience is desired Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and effectively navigate multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data Professional and courteous demeanor Proficient in using phones, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required Willingness to learn and apply new skills Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Why Join Us?
