This role focuses on prospecting, qualifying, and securing drayage carriers to support customer shipments across U.S. and Canadian ports and intermodal rail yards. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a dynamic, ambitious and outgoing personality. What You'll Do Solicit and qualify new carriers to expand Ryan Transportation's drayage network Negotiate transactional drayage rates to support customer freight opportunities Secure carrier capacity for live and drop container moves Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments Track and trace shipments to ensure timely execution and high service levels Maintain accurate carrier records, compliance documentation, and system updates Actively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients Other duties as assigned What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field preferred Familiarity with drayage, port terminals, or intermodal rail operations strongly preferred Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment Strong relationship building and negotiation skills Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Detail orientated with analytical and technical skills Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to cross-sell services across all brands Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines What Will Put You Ahead Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment Attention to detail Passion to learn and build relationships Self-motivated and self-sufficient, while seeking guidance and direction as needed Bilingual skills Apply Today!
