We are seeking a motivated Flooring Sales Specialist to join our team! In this energetic role, you'll be the go-to expert for clients seeking high-quality flooring solutions, guiding them through product selections, layout designs, and renovation projects. Your enthusiasm for sales combined with your knowledge of construction and interior design will drive customer satisfaction and business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your outside and inside sales skills while working with a diverse range of clients on both residential and commercial projects. Duties Engage with customers in retail setting to understand their flooring needs, preferences, and project scope Provide expert guidance on flooring options, including hardwood, laminate, tile, carpet, and luxury vinyl, emphasizing quality and value Conduct product demonstrations and explain features such as durability, maintenance requirements, lighting effects, and installation processes Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction while meeting sales targets Work through company-provided software programs to prepare estimates for Clients. Manage account relationships through effective communication skills, organization skills, and account management techniques Assist customers with POS transactions including cash handling and merchandising of products on the sales floor Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate delivery of Customer materials Maintain cleanliness of flooring showroom, ensure all samples are put away, current, and accurate. Experience Proven experience in outside sales within the renovation, construction, or retail environment preferred Strong knowledge of flooring materials, layout design or interior design concepts is highly desirable Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-centric approach to service delivery Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse client bases effectively Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, merchandising strategies, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions and product demos Experience in remodeling projects or interior design enhances ability to advise clients comprehensively Effective communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous for broader customer engagement Join us as a Flooring Sales Specialist where your passion for design meets your talent for sales!
