Job Description
Lee Building Products - Mountainstone / Veneerstone Division is looking for an Outside Distributor Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our presence across the South and South Central United States. We manufacture premium manufactured stone veneer products that bring beauty, durability, and value to residential and commercial projects nationwide. This is an opportunity for an experienced outside sales professional to take ownership of a large territory, develop new business, grow existing distributor partnerships, and make a measurable impact on our continued success. What You'll Do Grow Distributor Relationships Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributor partners. Conduct regular in-person distributor visits to review performance and identify opportunities for growth. Train distributor sales teams on products, installation methods, and selling strategies. Assist with merchandising, product displays, promotions, and other sales initiatives. Respond to customer concerns and help resolve issues professionally and efficiently. Develop New Business Identify, prospect, and develop new distributor accounts throughout your territory. Build relationships with builders, architects, designers, masonry contractors, and installers. Generate product specifications and identify upcoming project opportunities. Increase market share through strategic account development. Develop and execute territory sales plans designed to achieve and exceed sales goals. Drive Sales & Marketing Initiatives Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and lunch-and-learns. Represent the company at trade shows, home shows, and industry events. Introduce customers to new products, colors, and product innovations. Monitor competitor activity, market conditions, and industry trends. Work with company leadership to support promotional campaigns and sales initiatives. Support Customers & Projects Help customers select products and assist with estimating when needed. Participate in jobsite visits and provide product support. Follow up on quotations, leads, and project opportunities. Partner with Customer Service and Operations to help ensure orders and deliveries are handled effectively. Manage Your Territory - South/South Central part of the US. (16-18 states) Maintain accurate customer and project information in the CRM. Submit bi-weekly call reports and monthly sales forecasts. Manage travel and expense reporting. Consistently work toward established sales and gross margin goals. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications At least 3 years of outside sales experience. Demonstrated success in relationship-based or consultative sales. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time within the assigned territory. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience or industry relationships in any of the following are a plus: Manufactured stone or masonry Brick or concrete Roofing or siding Building materials Construction Distribution Residential or commercial building products A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
