Job Description

Role Overview:
Acts as a Cashier and/or Stocker, providing leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Responsible for maintaining store presentation, stocking merchandise, and delivering exemplary customer service to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Main Duties:
Unload trucks, process deliveries, and stock shelves following company procedures. Implement and maintain plan-o-grams, organize displays, and assist customers in locating merchandise. Operate cash register, handle transactions, and assist with checkout duties. Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security, including cleaning, trash removal, and store organization. Support opening and closing procedures under managerial direction. In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, monitor security, and complete required documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures. Ability to operate cash registers and perform basic financial transactions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of safety policies and plan-o-gram compliance. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with some supervisory experience advantageous.
Working Conditions:
Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Handling merchandise and operating equipment like scanners and carts. Occasional lifting up to 55 pounds and working at heights with ladders. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise; potential exposure to outdoor weather. Occasional travel for bank deposits and store visits.
