About Us Neighborhood Golf Carts is a fast-growing, locally owned mobile golf cart repair and service company based in Covington, Louisiana. We bring convenient, high-quality on-site repairs directly to customers' doors across the Northshore, New Orleans, and surrounding areas. We've been in business since 2023 and grew revenue 70% in just one year — and we're just getting started!

Position Overview We're looking for a bold, resourceful Business Development and Marketing Coordinator who thrives in a small-business environment and wants to drive real growth through a smart mix of guerrilla marketing tactics and social media marketing. This hybrid role focuses on proactive business development, creative community outreach, and unconventional strategies that get us noticed on the ground — amplified by targeted social content and digital tools. You'll blend boots-on-the-ground hustle (events, partnerships, local stunts) with scroll-stopping social campaigns, quick videos, and Google Ads to turn visibility into booked service calls. Key Responsibilities Hunt for and close new business opportunities through proactive, boots-on-the-ground outreach to golf courses, HOAs, neighborhoods, commercial properties, and local organizations. Develop and execute a balanced mix of guerrilla marketing tactics (community stunts, pop-up demonstrations, strategic partnerships, door-to-door style campaigns, yard signs, local event activations, and unconventional visibility plays) and social media marketing across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Create, edit, and optimize engaging short-form video content using video editing software to showcase our mobile repairs, customer stories, and on-site events — for both guerrilla activations and social amplification. Build and run high-impact campaigns that combine real-world guerrilla efforts with targeted support from Google Ads, social posting, and email to maximize reach and leads. Plan and lead promotional events, local networking, charity tie-ins, and cross-promotions to boost visibility and generate qualified leads across the Greater New Orleans and Northshore areas. Leverage AI tools for productivity — generating campaign ideas, outreach scripts, social copy, video scripts, and streamlining tracking and follow-up. Conduct quick market research to spot trends, stay ahead of competitors, and uncover new growth opportunities in the golf cart service world. Manage customer databases, track leads from your guerrilla and social efforts, and share regular reports that show the direct results of your work. Create eye-catching marketing materials — flyers, door hangers, signage, social graphics, and promos — that support both on-the-ground and digital tactics. Support sales by following up on inquiries and helping convert leads into service appointments. Collaborate closely with the owner and small team to turn creative ideas into revenue-growing actions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required if you have strong results). 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales support, guerrilla/local marketing, social media marketing, or a similar role. Experience in automotive, recreational vehicles, service industries, or hands-on community marketing is a big plus. Proficiency in Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok and related short-form video platforms, plus video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, iMovie, or similar) — you know how to create quick, effective video assets and run targeted ads that support guerrilla campaigns and social efforts to drive real results. Comfortable using AI tools for productivity (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or AI features in Canva/Adobe) to brainstorm ideas, write copy, edit content, and work more efficiently. Proven track record of generating leads or contributing to revenue growth through a mix of creative outreach and social/digital tactics. Strong written and verbal communication skills — you're comfortable reaching out to people in person and telling our story online. Proficient with basic digital marketing tools, Microsoft Office, and simple CRM systems. Self-motivated, organized, and excellent at managing your time in a fast-paced small-business setting. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (local travel for networking, events, and guerrilla tactics is part of the role). Passion for community engagement and the golf cart/outdoor lifestyle is highly desirable — bonus if you already know the Northshore scene and love blending guerrilla hustle with social creativity!
