(Traveling Sales Rep.) Company Overview High Point Sales and Marketing LLC is a company located in Houston, Texas which provides their clients with different services such as brokerage, consulting, merchandising, trade marketing and some custom services to help growth their product portfolio in the channels and markets according to their commercial strategy. Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on the Hispanic market. This role will work extensively with value stores, drug stores, and convenience stores to build lasting relationships, expand distribution, and deliver sales growth. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and passionate about providing excellent service to clients and consumers, while understanding the cultural nuances and preferences of the Hispanic market. This position combines the responsibilities of field sales, key account management, territory development, and client relationship building, and requires both strategic thinking and strong execution at the store level. Key Responsibilities Account & Territory Management Develop and grow assigned territories by managing relationships with existing clients. Regularly visit stores to assess product placement, ensure compliance with planograms, and maintain optimal product visibility. Work closely with distributors, wholesalers, and key store personnel to ensure product availability and minimize out-of-stock situations. Routinely monitor store conditions, inventory levels, and promotional execution. Client Relationship Development Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with buyers, store managers, operations managers, and other key decision-makers. Act as the primary liaison between the client, internal teams, and the store to ensure all needs are addressed efficiently. Provide tailored solutions that align with client objectives and consumer demands within the Hispanic market. Sales Execution & Growth Achieve and exceed sales quotas and distribution targets across all assigned channels. Introduce and support new product launches, secure product placements, and expand product portfolios within accounts. Proactively identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to drive incremental revenue. Market Development & Cultural Alignment Execute culturally relevant marketing programs and in-store promotions that resonate with the Hispanic consumer base. Develop targeted growth strategies based on regional trends, consumer preferences, and the unique dynamics of the Hispanic market. Data Reporting & Analysis Conduct regular sales performance reviews, market analysis, and competitor assessments to adjust sales strategies as needed. Provide accurate and timely sales reports, inventory updates, promotional tracking, and account visit documentation. Leverage data-driven insights to support sales forecasts and territory planning. Collaboration & Team Support Coordinate with internal sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure flawless execution of sales initiatives. Participate in team trainings, client presentations, store resets, and promotional events. Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to enhance product offerings and service delivery. Administrative & Compliance Tasks Ensure timely and accurate check-ins and check-outs through Repsly or designated platforms. Maintain accurate mileage logs and daily activity reporting. Uphold all company policies, including safety protocols and compliance requirements.

Comfortable analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to achieve goals.
Cultural Sensitivity:
Deep understanding of the Hispanic market, consumer preferences, and regional buying behaviors.
Time Management:
Skilled at prioritizing tasks, managing schedules, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving:
Proactive in identifying issues and developing practical solutions quickly.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required) Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the CPG industry , preferably in the food and beverage sector Prior experience working with value stores, drug stores, and convenience stores Demonstrated success managing accounts in the Hispanic market is highly desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and willing to travel up to 100% of the time Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred Additional Competencies Leadership potential and ability to mentor less experienced team members Strong understanding of retail execution and merchandising best practices Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and market changes Professional demeanor with a client-first attitude •The above statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the principal functions of the occupation described and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherited in the occupation.
