Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Route Sales Representative's Helper. This person will be required to help provide service to existing customers, with the current driver of routes. You will be required to drive a company truck when our current drivers are out on vacation. Providing service to customers by delivering clean products accurately and returning all soiled items to the plant for processing. The items will consist of tablecloths, mats, towels, aprons, as well as various other textiles. Responsibilities Has to be 21 years old or older. We cannot stress enough that you must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving history. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds safely and consistently throughout the day, by yourself. Must be a team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done; self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement. Must be respectful of all properties and customers you will visit. Help load the truck at the warehouse during the beginning of each shift. Support organizational tasks such as route planning, pricing adjustments, and documentation. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Strong math skills for handling pricing, inventory counts, and sales transactions. Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members. Experience in sales or upselling techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly. Strong organizational skills for managing routes and schedules efficiently. Previous military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and reliability. Knowledge of merchandising standards and route driving best practices is beneficial.
