• Full-time DelPrete Home Improvements is a locally owned Home Improvements company based out of Middleboro.

We specialize in roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, decks and skylights, with most of our sales in the roofing and siding sectors, which you will focus on. As a small organization, our team enjoys the benefit of flexibility in scheduling with a strong emphasis on honesty, follow through and being a straight shooter both internally and with potential clients. We offer top quality home improvements without the BS.

In Home Consultant:

We are looking for an in-home consultant aka Project Specialist, not a salesman! No one likes to be sold and pushed into buying after sitting through a 3-4 hour interrogation from a salesman. Our belief is simple. Sit with homeowners and listen to their needs. Ask questions and listen to their answers. Explain to them the products that DelPrete offers that fit what they are looking for. We then explain how we go about a typical install, so they understand the process. Our goal is to educate homeowners, not close them . When homeowners are educated and not sold, they listen. When homeowners know you are "hearing them" and not giving them a sales pitch, they open up and relax. When they are comfortable with you, they will trust that what you are telling them is the truth and want to do business with you. This is what sets us apart from everyone else. This is how we do business and the only way we do business. If you're pushing to close on the first visit, you're not for us. We want a person that listens to what homeowners have to say and if we are a fit for them great, if not then on to the next. We are not for everyone. We close less than 1% of all sales on the first meeting, yet our close rates are between 40%

Position requirements:

Valid driver's license & clean driving record required. Since you will be driving a company vehicle every day your drivers record will be pulled every year for verification. Please don't apply if it's not clean. You should be located somewhere in the areas of Milton to South Shore Must be on time all the time. No shows are completely unacceptable. We communicate both internally and with our clients when we are running early or a few minutes behind etc. to keep everyone informed. Everyone's time is important! Have outstanding communication and follow through/follow up Will follow our process that we set forth to the letter Sales experience is not necessary; but welcome, otherwise we will train you the DelPrete way Actual hands-on field knowledge is highly preferred as it will make you 10 times better at it, but not required. If you're a blue collar worker from this field looking to work with homeowners, this is a great next step. Ability to measure residential & commercial properties on-site if needed We do typically run reports to speed up this process Have a great personality and enjoy talking to people (not selling) Are a good listener and can respond accurately to what they are saying or asking Be honest, up front and a straight shooter, No BS! Ability to run up to 2-4 appointments daily including nights and weekends as needed Tech-savvy capabilities Highly developed organizational skills
