Position Overview:
As a Sales Consultant at JB Sash, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our premium window products, primarily focusing on Marvin products. You will be responsible for nurturing client relationships, understanding our capabilities and services, and efficiently managing quoting, ordering, and customer service processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Thoroughly learn all products available through JB Sash, with a primary focus on Marvin products. Familiarize yourself with JB Sash's capabilities and services, ensuring you can effectively communicate these to clients. Master quoting, order processing, and customer service procedures to facilitate smooth transactions. Proactively generate new leads and opportunities for sales growth in both high-end residential and commercial sectors. Own the client relationship from initial contact through customer education, quoting, order writing, and post-sales follow-up. Participate in company meetings and relationship events to stay informed and contribute to team objectives. Read blueprints and conduct take-offs to accurately assess project requirements. Conduct necessary job site visitations and consultations for homeowners and contractors to provide tailored solutions and support.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales within the building materials industry, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse client bases. Knowledge of luxury home products, particularly windows and doors, is highly advantageous. Ability to read blueprints and conduct take-offs is preferred.
