Job Summary Are you a in-home sales rep or estimator who is driven by results and uncapped earning potential? Maryland Mold and Waterproofing is a growing, residential specialty contractor based in Odenton, MD. We provide mold remediation, basement waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, and structural repair to homeowners across the region. We are hiring an Outside Sales Representative to run company-provided residential appointments, diagnose the problem, design the right solution, and close the sale. You will work directly with the owner and the Director of Operations, and contribute to decisions on pricing, process, and lead generation. Why This Role Full-time, W-2 position based in Odenton, MD Commission-based compensation with $700 per week training pay for the first 4 to 6 weeks, depending on prior experience Average annual earnings for commissioned project managers of $80,000 to $100,000 Top performers earn $150,000 to $200,000 Company-generated leads within a compact central Maryland territory Increased commission rate on self-generated business Quarterly performance bonus tied to sales volume targets Company vehicle for business use, along with a company phone, tablet, equipment, and branded apparel Defined advancement plan to Sales Manager as the company grows Key Responsibilities Conduct in-home sales appointments throughout central Maryland, the majority of which are company-generated Perform physical inspections of basements, crawlspaces, and foundations, including confined, damp, and unfinished spaces Diagnose the underlying cause of water intrusion, structural movement, or mold growth and explain findings to the homeowner in clear, accessible terms Design the repair solution, price it accurately from the company rate book, and present the proposal in the home Prepare a complete, accurate scope of work and coordinate the handoff to the production team Maintain communication with the customer through installation, including questions, change orders, and the final walkthrough Develop referral relationships with real estate agents, home inspectors, property managers, and insurance adjusters Represent MMW at up to six home shows per year Manage an active pipeline and follow up on open proposals through resolution Qualifications 1 to 3 years of experience in a business-to-consumer, in-home sales environment is strongly preferred (waterproofing, foundation repair, roofing, HVAC, windows, solar, or restoration) Demonstrated ability to close sales in the home during the initial appointment Willingness and physical ability to inspect crawlspaces and unfinished basements. Most appointments include time on hands and knees in confined spaces. Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the company and its insurer Disciplined follow-up practices, including timely call returns, CRM updates, and same-day completion of documentation High standard of integrity with customers and colleagues. MMW prices fairly and recommends only the work a home requires. Compensation & Benefits $700 per week training pay for 4 to 6 weeks during onboarding, covering the company's diagnostic process, product lines, and pricing Uncapped commission following the training period, paid on closed and collected projects Average annual earnings of $80,000 to $100,000.
