The ideal candidate must have the following:
  • Commercial Furniture industry experience is a must.
  • Strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task and create a well-organized environment.
  • Manage the company's executive level accounts that are positioned with the company President.
  • Work with design to ensure that all layouts and elements of the clients' request are included in prepared drawings. Communicate to design any necessary adjustments to layouts that are needed to ensure client satisfaction. Verify client's approval in writing for all layouts prior to ordering.
  • Review and prepare account quotes and/or bids for the president. This may include securing pricing documentation from manufacturers and installation. Work with the president to price all projects. Prepare client quotes and scope of work for client approval.
  • Work with customer service team to verify that items are ordered correctly and are arriving as per the client's deadlines. When products do not meet expectations, follow up with manufacturers and communicate information to the client(s).
  • Work with the operations and project management (pm) to verify that all products for the job have been received, damage free and ready for installation.
Work with operations to ensure that all information regarding the clients' needs and requirements for the project(s) are delivered on-time and meet the clients' expectations to ensure a seamless project installation. This may include meeting with the team and reviewing layouts, trucking schedules, site rules and client expectations prior to delivery.
  • When needed, contract with subcontractors for work to be completed. Secure quotes so jobs are properly priced. In addition, collect all necessary paperwork from subcontractors to verify insurance, etc.… Work with Project Management to ensure that subcontractor is aware of all job details and requirements. Verify subcontractor invoices are correct and authorize payment.
  • Follow up with clients regarding deliveries to ensure a positive experience.
  • Work with project management after an install to ensure that all necessary steps regarding any punch items or replacements needed from manufacturers including all claim forms and/or RMAs are done. Verify with that all punch items are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare reports and assist the customer service team and executive staff as needed.
  • Computer skills a must.
Ability to work Microsoft Office and Excel required. Ideal candidate familiar with Team Design and Trello but not required to apply.
