SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST
  • OFFICE & EDUCATIONAL
FURNITURE
American Design Associates
  • Towson, Maryland 21286 One of Maryland's leading corporate office furniture companies for over 25 years is seeking an experienced sales support professional to add to their growing team.
This is a full-time position. Ideal applicants have industry experience to include office and/or educational furniture. Located in Towson and serving clients throughout Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic region. This position responsibility includes but is not limited to supporting top performing sales team members, securing manufacturers' quotes, developing client proposals, working with Design Team to develop and provide product specification information and any necessary layout adjustments, assisting Project Management with installation documentation for large scale projects and managing punch related issues. We are looking for individuals who is a team player with a creative mind, great attitude and the ability to support sales and client relationships. We are seeking a well-organized individual with a positive and proactive outlook who is prepared to work hard in a fast-moving sales environment. Their contribution plays a significant role in the success of the sales team and the achievement of a positive client experience. The applicant will need to be flexible and willing to assist whenever needed.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Associate's and/or bachelor's degree in business
  • Experience with office and/or school furniture sales support.
  • Knowledge of commercial furniture industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and Power Point). Experience/knowledge with 20/20 GIZA Studio, Team Design and ability to interpret layouts is a plus but not required.
  • Exceptional administrative skills and time management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to take the initiative to get answers and provide them.
  • Ability to support sales and customer needs.
  • Ability to work closely with customers, architects, designers, and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with multiple vendors, manufacturer representatives and subcontractors.
  • Calm and clear minded under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic team player with great communication skills including on the phone and via email.
