We are currently seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Position Overview:
As an Inside Sales Representative at Johnson Hydraulic Sales, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in identifying their hydraulic component needs and providing them with the solutions they require. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating hydraulic hose assemblies to meet customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person to understand their hydraulic component requirements and provide expert guidance and product recommendations.
Product Knowledge:
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our hydraulic product offerings, including hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, and other components.
Quoting and Pricing:
Prepare accurate quotes and pricing for customers, considering factors such as quantity discounts, special promotions, and custom orders.
Order Processing:
Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Hydraulic Hose Assembly:
Utilize hydraulic hose assembly equipment to create custom hose assemblies to meet customer specifications.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to customers by answering questions and troubleshooting hydraulic system issues.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are consistently met and their satisfaction is achieved.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and work with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock of hydraulic components and hose assembly materials.
Sales Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, orders, and sales activities, and provide regular reports to management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or mechanical background preferred. Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field. Knowledge of hydraulic components and systems is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy.
