Serving as a central point of contact between Sales, Finance, Plant Operations, and Customer Service, this role ensures pricing accuracy, contract compliance, and timely invoicing. The position also provides oversight of a Sales Coordinator and supports strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. This role would sit in Dauch's Auburn Hills, MI location.
Job Description:
Maintain customer price books across the full lifecycle of parts and programs, including contract terms, pricing setup, effective dates, and special commercial conditions. Manage customer pricing agreements, including annual and future contractual pricing, for assigned customers and programs. Own tooling, prototype, sample, and service pricing, including accountability for accurate pricing setup and tooling payment tracking. Administer surcharge and raw material pricing for assigned customers, ensuring contract‑specific pricing is accurately maintained and reflected in systems. Review and approve customer purchase orders for pricing accuracy and ensure appropriate updates to customer price books to support invoicing. Serve as a primary cross‑functional liaison between Sales, Finance, Plant Operations, and Customer Service on commercial and pricing‑related matters. Support invoicing and collections activities, including credit control escalation related to pricing discrepancies or overdue items. Support commercial readiness for new parts and programs, including pricing setup and program launch alignment. Address customer inquiries related to pricing, contracts, and commercial documentation. Own the retroactive pricing process, including preparation, approval alignment, and submission for financial processing. Maintain recurring commercial reports and trackers, including contractual pricing, price‑down reporting, service parts tracking, and tooling documentation. Administer customer portals, including user access, certifications, documentation maintenance, customer communications, and audit support. Participate in strategic pricing initiatives, customer audits, part transitions, and organizational changes impacting commercial execution. Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to sales coordination processes, systems, and workflows; provide administrative support to the Sales organization as needed. Maintain key Sales reference materials, including internal schedules, communications, and the "Plant at a Glance" contact directory. Required Skills and Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in sales coordination, pricing, contracts, or commercial operations Experience managing customer pricing agreements, contracts, and price books in a manufacturing or automotive environment Working knowledge of surcharges, tooling pricing, retroactive pricing, and invoicing processes Experience supporting OEM and Tier 1 customers and navigating customer portals and audit requirements Prior experience in a lead or informal supervisory role preferred About Dauch:
