Job Description

Role Summary GPI is looking for a motivated, goal-oriented Sales Representative to spearhead the growth of our school photography operations within the region. This position focuses on generating new revenue by winning contracts with school districts while also maintaining strong relationships with our current client base. As a primary representative of our company, you will cultivate enduring alliances with superintendents, school principals, and yearbook advisors to ensure exceptional picture day delivery.
Core Qualifications & Professional Skills Professional Experience:
At least 3 to 5+ years of B2B sales management background, ideally centered in school photography, educational markets, publishing, or consumer-oriented services.
Demonstrated Success:
A history of consistently hitting sales targets, controlling intricate sales cycles, and securing agreements with large institutions.
Communication Capabilities:
Superb presentation capabilities with the poise required to pitch effectively to school boards, superintendents, and parent teacher organizations.
Regional Travel:
A readiness to travel frequently across the designated territory to engage with accounts and monitor local business execution.
Primary Responsibilities New Business Growth:
Pinpoint, engage, and secure substantial school photography service agreements spanning public, charter, and private school networks.
Client Retention:
Supervise and sustain existing institutional clients, emphasizing high satisfaction levels to secure multi-year contract renewals.
Strategic Sales Planning:
Formulate and execute localized sales initiatives, establish targets, and track crucial metrics to surpass designated yearly revenue benchmarks.
Deal Negotiation:
Outline, structure, and finalize service terms, pricing structures, and commission payouts alongside school board members and key administrators.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
Collaborate closely with internal laboratory and operational units to align production schedules, operational logistics, and final product distribution across all participating schools.
